As of today Barack Obama has finally endorsed Kamala Harris for President. So let’s get into it!

Barack Obama and Michelle Obama officially have endorsed Kamala Harris for president during a phone call shared early Friday.
In an emotional video released by the vice president’s campaign, Harris can be seen answering the call from the political power couple.
“I can’t have this phone call without saying to my girl Kamala: I am proud of you. This is going to be historic,” Michelle, 60, says in the video.
Harris, 59, ended the call by joking with the Obamas that they were “gonna have some fun with this, too.”
A full transcript of the trio’s call showed the 44th president citing Harris’ “record of inclusion” as one of the reasons he and his wife are proud to endorse her as the Democratic nominee.
“We’re gonna be underdogs, you know, and you are gonna have to continue, as you said, to earn not just the nomination but earn the trust of folks all across this country,” Barack said. “But knowing you as we do, we’re absolutely confident that you’re gonna be able to make it happen.”
“We’ve got to work now. All of us, you know,” Michelle added. “It’s time to stop wringing our hands, it’s time to stop complaining, it’s time for us to rally around you, your candidacy. This is not on you, it’s not just on you and [your husband] Doug [Emhoff], it’s on all of us.”
The Obamas released a separate statement Friday morning agreeing with President Biden that endorsing Harris “was one of the best decisions he’s made.”
“There is no doubt in our mind that Kamala Harris has exactly what it takes to win this election and deliver for the American people,” the statement concluded. “At a time when the stakes have never been higher, she gives us all reason to hope.”
Barack and Michelle Obama on the road campaigning for Kamala Harris is exactly what Kamala needs to win over people. There are people who will never vote for Kamala, and there are middle who would vote for the Democratic nominee regardless of who it is.
Then there’s this big group of people in the middle, that need to be won over in order for Kamala to win the Presidency. And Barack and Michelle can help Kamala reach that group of people because a lot of them voted for Barack Obama when he ran for President.
Barack Obama ran on hope. Everything was about hope and the audacity of hope. And now Kamala is the product of that hope. She is the audactity of hope because how dare she, as a woman who is considered Black in this country, run for the highest office in the land?
Michelle Obama Could Beat Trump
So I also wanted to share with you this Reuters poll that shows that Michelle Obama would actually beat Trump in an election according to American voters. I know Michelle doesn’t want to be President so there’s no chance of her running, but I’m sharing this with you because so many people believe that this country would never elect a Black woman as President, and it’s actually not true according to the numbers.

Michelle Obama is the only Democratic candidate who would beat Trump in a hypothetical 2024 election matchup, a new poll suggests.
The best-selling author and wife of former President Barack Obama would beat Trump by over 10 points, with 50% of voters saying they would vote for Obama and 39% saying they would vote for Trump, according to the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll.
The poll also finds President Joe Biden tied with Trump, each receiving 40% in a two-way race. In this matchup, 8% of voters said they would vote for somebody else and 8% of voters said they would not vote.
All other hypothetical Democratic candidates trail behind the former president and presumptive GOP candidate. Vice President Kamala Harris sits just one point behind Trump at 42% to Trump’s 43%, within the poll’s margin of error, and California Gov. Gavin Newsom sits at 39% against Trump’s 42%.
Obama also topped the charts in favorability scores, with 55% of voters having a favorable opinion of the former first lady. That’s 10 points higher than either Trump or Biden.
Following Thursday’s presidential debate, more than half of voters said Biden should drop out of the race and just under half said the same of Trump.
Despite her popularity among American voters, Obama has said many times that she has no desire to run for office.
“As former First Lady Michelle Obama has expressed several times over the years, she will not be running for president. Mrs. Obama supports President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ re-election campaign,” Obama’s communication director said in a statement to MSNBC earlier this year.
Michelle Obama clearly wants no parts of running this country. But I shared that with y’all to show y’all that everyday Americans are open to voting for a woman of color for President, regardless of what Trump would gaslight people into believing.
And speaking of Trump, his campaign is so shook by the Democrats suddenly changing candidates to Kamala that he has actually cancelled all the scheduled campaign debates.
Y’all know one thing Kamala can do is argue! She’s a prosecuter and he’s a felon and she’s going to tear him up if they ever get on the same stage. She’s going to expose him for the criminal he is and the American public needs to see it.

Donald Trump’s newest lame excuse for not debating Kamala Harris just evaporated in a matter of hours.
In a statement released Thursday night, Trump’s campaign explained that they would be putting any future presidential debates on hold.
“Given the continued political chaos surrounding Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrat Party, general election debate details cannot be finalized until Democrats formally decide on their nominee,” said Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung.
In the days following President Joe Biden’s endorsement of Harris, Trump took to Truth Social to air his grievances over the upcoming debate, scheduled for September 10. He seemed to be complaining about the debate’s host, ABC News, to create a context for skipping it all together.
Now, Trump has offered a slightly different excuse. Despite the fact that Harris has become the party’s presumptive nominee, officially gaining enough support to snag the nomination next month, the Trump team was still unwilling to move forward with the next debate while Harris lacked support from one specific person.

But Trump’s scheme to sidestep debating his new opponent fell flat by Friday morning, when Harris shared a video of her speaking to Obama and his wife Michelle on the phone.
