Cardi B Returns To The Gym Just DAYS After Giving Birth

Cardi B recently made headlines for hitting the gym just days after giving birth to her third child. While her dedication to fitness is admirable, it’s raising concerns about the potential risks of jumping back into intense workouts so soon postpartum.

Cardi shared on Instagram that she spent 30 minutes on a stair master, just over a week after giving birth. She emphasized that she wasn’t doing any heavy lifting yet but was eager to start more intense sessions later. While her motivation to regain her pre-pregnancy body is understandable—especially being that she’s in the public eye and she’s going through a divorce—returning to high-impact exercise too soon after childbirth can be extremely dangerous.

Doctors generally recommend waiting at least six weeks before resuming strenuous activities, especially for women who’ve had a C-section or experienced complications during birth. During pregnancy, the body produces a hormone that softens joints and ligaments, making new moms more susceptible to injuries like muscle tears or joint issues. And, the pelvic floor is still recovering, and excessive strain too soon can lead to long-term issues, such as incontinence or back pain so it’s just not worth working out to soon if you’re going to end up wearing Depends because you’ve injured your body(Peoplemag)(AllHipHop).

Cardi B seems to be obsessed with her body and her looks, especially these last few years since she’s be dealing with Offset and his alleged cheating. But she needs to slow down and heal before she hurts herself.
