Even if you don’t keep up with track and field, you have probably still heard of Noah Lyles. He’s an American sprinter who has quickly become one of the most prominent figures in track and field. Born on July 18, 1997, in Gainesville, Florida, Noah Lyles is known not just for his speed but for his charismatic and polarizing personality. He most recently had beef with the entire NBA League because of his mouth.
He specializes in the 100 meters and 200 meters, and he has won a number of world championships and Olympic medals throughout his career.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, he solidified his racing legacy by winning gold in the men’s 100-meter final on August 4 and adding a bronze medal in the men’s 200-meter final on August 8, which he later claimed was due to him having Covid. That’s the race where he entered the stadium jumping all around like a fool and left in a wheelchair.
Noah and Junelle’s love story began where they both shine the brightest—on the track. They first crossed paths at a track meet in 2021, where their shared passion for track and field drew them together. And what started as a friendship with mutual respect and admiration for each other’s talents eventually blossomed into a deeper connection.
If you’re not familiar with Junelle Bromfield, Junelle is a talented Jamaican athlete, specializing in the 400 meters and 400 meters hurdles. Born on February 8, 1998, and has made a name for herself both in national and international competitions. Junelle attended the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech), where she excelled in her athletic career. She has represented Jamaica on the global stage, including at the World Championships and most recently, the Olympic.
And it was Noah’s comments about his pillow talk conversations with Junelle that caused people to attack her on social media.
