Over the weekend Rihanna and her friend Savannah James were spotted out together and it reminded people that the feud between Rihanna and Ciara back in 2011 was actually over Ciara allegedly going out on a date with Lebron James and Rihanna being friends with Savannah.
In January 2011, rumors came out alleging that LeBron James and Ciara were seen dining together in Beverly Hills, with reports suggesting they arrived separately, shared a corner table, and were seen “playfully kissing” before leaving individually.
Around the same time, Ciara and Rihanna engaged in a public Twitter exchange. First, during a 2011 appearance on E!’s Fashion Police, Ciara told the world about a rude encounter with Rihanna, saying, “I ran into her recently at a party. She wasn’t the nicest.”
Rihanna responded on Twitter, leading to a brief but legendary back-and-forth between the two women.
